Martine Nguyen
Martine Nguyen is an accomplished event planner with over a decade of experience in crafting international events. Merging creativity with strategic insight, she leaves a significant and lasting impact with each occasion she orchestrates, contributing to a more inclusive world.
As a proud mother and passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Martine is dedicated to creating environments where everyone feels seen and valued. Born in France to Vietnamese-Chinese parents, her unique perspective was shaped by her early experiences of alienation, deepening her understanding of belonging.
Having lived in countries such as France, Argentina, and now Spain, Martine speaks four languages and has traveled to over twenty countries. She cultivates a profound appreciation for global cultures that empowers her to connect with diverse audiences. She served on the global board of a people resource group for two years, to leverage the power of cultural intelligence through transformative conversation, drive diverse representation, accelerate career progression, and foster innovation for long-term success and sustainability.
Martine holds a Master’s in Management from Clermont Business School in France, and a certification in Event DEI Strategy from the Event Leadership Institute.
Tammy Hsu
Tammy Hsu is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with additional specialized certifications in sustainable event planning and circularity from various institutions. With over a decade of hands-on experience in planning events across nonprofits, corporations, and higher education, she excels in integrating sustainability into her work. As the sole sustainability-focused event planner currently in her global company, Tammy is striving to build frameworks and execute strategies to lead their business towards more impactful events. Additionally, she leads a cross-divisional Sustainable Events Working Group to collaborate with stakeholders to advance their goals towards net-zero.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tammy is a dedicated servant-leader, actively serving on nonprofit boards to drive community impact. Her commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals is evident through her extensive volunteerism, including over 1,200 hours with AmeriCorps and leadership roles with the Educational Opportunity Fund Statewide Alumni Association (EOFSAA) and America Needs You. A proud Rutgers University graduate, she holds a B.A. in Communications & Psychology and a Leadership Certificate in Organizational Communication.
